Identities Of Convicted Rapists In Nigeria since 2015 revealed

Here are the identities of convicted sex offenders as seen on the Nigeria Sex Offender Register.
@naptipnigeria Is determined to naming and shaming all sex offenders.
More names will be published as the convictions keep coming in.

The identities of convicted sex offenders in Nigeria have been unveiled by The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons.

The action of NAPTIP became necessary following the increasing rape incidents in Nigeria in recent times.

It also further reminds Nigerians that the Nigeria Sex Offender Register is still very much active.

Nigeria Sex Offender Register is determined to naming and shaming all sex offenders.

The first national sexual offenders register was launched in November 2019.

It contains the database of those convicted for sexual violence since 2015 – an important step towards clamping down on abuse.

Good, this will go a long way to discourage prospective rapists. But where are the females among them? Or NAPTIP is trying to save the faces of the female perpetrators or male victims no dey report this act??

This is good but the states should make haste to pass the Child Rights Act. This rape incident is becoming worrisome. Also rape cases involving the BIG MEN should be given equal attention and publicity.
