I think you are brainwashed. If it is an American or British nurses wearing the colour green scrubs, you wouldn't have seen any issues with it. Well, colour green illustrate tranquility, peace, and healing in western sense . Colour white according to the Chinese illustrate death and it Is used predominantly for funeral. Can you compare the level of attention, preparations, infrastructures and money that goes into hosting an Events like AFCON/AAG to all these lesser know events Kenya has been hosting..

How many Cities in Kenya were involved in Hosting those Events you mentioned?
How many Hotels, transport services and other facilities were used in hosting those events?

It doesn't have flashy skyscrapers and buildings but in terms of actual development like transport, health, Internet connectivity, education, sewage, power supply ect ect it's second to none in Africa.... Its also city were I work currently.

It's also by far the most beautiful city in South Africa imo.
