Hi guys, do you think investing 100k in fixed deposits is a wise decision?

Also, Nairametrics lists Unity Bank as having the highest interest rate (16%) per month. What's your experience with that bank?
I currently use Wema Bank and theirs is lower than that.

Check properly, the 16% is per anum. If you invest your 100k in a year u'll get 16k

You have been rightly answerd by juell....
Its 16% per annum pro- rated. You will be lucky if the 16% is compounded but if simple, it isn't bad either. No bank in Nigeria not even Tbills non mutual funds can afford such monthly.

If you run a business, you will understand the cost of running one in Nigeria.
I'm sure every businesses will love to give something worth investor's capital, nonetheless, business owners must factor-in their gross profit vs net profit.
