Former Chairman of Oredo Local Government Area, Osaro Obazee, came second with 81,173, while the incumbent governor scored 79,861.

Whoever did this didn't try to be clever at all whether Oshiomole or Jack Obiyan. APC Is fielding six candidates but the purported result has five candidates so it needs to be edited . The candidates are Godwin Obaseki, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Dr. Pius Odubu, Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi, Hon. Osaro Obazee and Hon. Matthew Aigbuhuenze Iduoriyekemwen.
