NOUN operates Open and Distance Learning which has been projected to be bedrock and future for worldwide Education. Recently,National University Commission(NUC) Affirm that National Open University Of University is the best and Approved Online Distance Learning(ODL) In Nigeria.

Even with the current pandemic ranvaging the world,the Instutution is leading other university in technology, the school will be conducting its matriculation for freshers through ZOOM in the coming days and also,the School is starting its exam for her student through Virtual Learning which is the first of its kind in Nigeria.

I refer to NOUN as a Glass House.

National Open University operates on Open and Distance Learning (ODL) which can also be found in some developed countries.

Besides there are tutorial centres for students to enroll at, or even engage in group study which is quite encouraging or better still study on your own.

It's necessary and compulsory, especially for administrative duties... There will also be a campus there for students which is called a study centre. An Open University is not designed to be strictly online. Students must meet each other, receive limited lectures and use the school library. The one at VI in Lagos is also fully functional with a library and good structures. Those in Abuja would benefit immensely... The rest of the country can make do with their mini study centers.

People wey do part time for regular university no dey do NYSC so why do you expect NOUN to do NYSC? stop thinking inside the box... Youth service is just a waste of one year.

If your university cannot produce even a light bulb, don't castigate NOUN. I am not a product of the school but I respect the school. They have got quite serious exam questions. All the same all Nigerian schools are shitty.

The huge building at the back under construction is not part of the university sha. That's the EFCC headquarters. Now completed.
