But how did corona spread from Lagos to other states in Nigeria despite inter state ban?
Could it be that the virus was already in Nigeria before February?

With all wike actions & demolition of hotel Rivers no gree slow down.
Baba even under the lockdown people where still travelling, boarders where still opened to people by our very own security operatives inasmuch u can pay them, so security operative contributed enough to what happening to us. locking down boarders was a huge failure because of our corrupt security operative eg police

That is because you're yet to know what they know or perhaps you decided not to know what you should know. In history, no one has ever cautioned a Nigerian from the risk of dying by anything. Just accept 2% of whatever figure you're seeing now as the correct figure and move along. Haven't you also reasoned the cases in the US at this protest time?!

I thought as much.

They just keep saying something without even considering whether it is possible or not just because they hear someone else saying the same thing.

Oh my God. Who did we offend. With this massive increase in cases, I dont expect the FG to allow any further movement.

A total lockdown of Two months should be enforced in all states. Everyone to remain inside his house.

People should stock their homes fully and all remain indoors. This is the only way this Pandemic could be defeated.

I call on the FG as a matter of urgency to lockdown the country indefinitely till further notice.

We are in big trouble in Nigeria and the FG lifting all bans and allowing its citizens suffer from this deadly virus.

I condemn it, I condemn it, I condemn it and urge all Nigerians to rise up to their voices and call for an indefinite lockdown till further notice.

Enough is enough now.

Why don't you go and buy padlock and lock people inside. You must still be eating from your mother's pot.

Discharged yesterday was 4040, today it's 4206. Mathematically, that's 202 discharged not 166. undecided undecided

How come 166 got discharged when earlier in the day Just State alone claimed they discharged 222 patients? See why I don't trust NCDC reports.

Have you forgotten Jigawa State claimed they discharged 222 persons yesterday, which alone is higher than the 166 NCDC is reporting?

I've always said I don't doubt the existence of coronavirus in Nigeria but looking at these ridiculous reports no one would take them seriously.

They should not open schools and close the Churches and Mosques, Hotels. Why open all these things. My business took a serious beating due to Corona virus but I still say it too early to reopen. Ever since they eased the lockdown, the number spiked.

Yesterday Jigawa alone discharged 222 patients, using that figure go back to the NCDC reported ones and do your calculations.

I'm not saying Covid19 isn't real, it is 100% real but for sure the figures reported are doctored.
If only 166 were discharged where is 222 discharged yesterday at Jigawa isolation center?

June 8
Total sample tested: 78,224
Confirmed new cases: 315
Sample tested on June 8: 1,704

June 9
Total sample tested: 79,948
Confirmed new cases: 663
Sample tested on june 9: not included..

To get the sample tested on june 9, we subtract the total sample tested on june 8 from that of june 9...
79,948 -78,224 = 1,724

A test of 1,704 was carried out on june 8... 315 came out positive, 1724 was carried out the following day, 663 came out as positive..

How did it happen??
Are they retesting the confirmed cases and adding them to give new cases.. I no dey understand anything again like diz
I thought i was the only person that noticed this... Does it mean that every Nigeria now has coronavirus?

Does it mean that 6 out of 10 samples will come out positive, even n USA it is not like that.

Nigeria does not do random or mass testing but targeted testing based on contact tracing protocols. It is very very possible.
