I extend my deepest condolence to the Government and people of Burundi over the passing on of their President H.E. Pierre Nkurunziza who died suddenly on Tuesday.
May God Almighty comfort his family and the good people of Burundi as they mourn.

May he grant the Republic of Burundi the grace of peaceful transition that will further strengthen the hope and confidence of the people in democracy and its promise of a stable State. GEJ

After ruling (not leading, please) the country for 15 years, he wanted a retirement pay out of $540,000; a lifetime salary and luxurious Villa. All these excluded the money he stole before now.
He made the requests in view of his retirement in August, 2020. He then died of heart attack on the 8/6/2020, two months to August.

Burundi should not mourn, but be happy.

Pierre Nkurunziza would be fondly remembered for his greed and nothing else.

The man thought he was smart and lived in denial of Corona virus, chasing away WHO officials. The man most likely died from the complications of the virus and the cardiac arrest was used as a cover up, how can his wife be Corona virus positive alongside aides and had to be flown to Kenya and still are hospitalised at Aga Khan hospital Nairobi, receiving treatment for Covid-19 and he remained negative?
