This man thought he has all the powers after altering their constitution to extend his term in office, causing unrest and even a coup,wetin happen?na die e still die Las Las... lesson:no one knows tomorrow,do good and leave a good legacy..I'm very sure half of the country is in jubilant mode now...

After ruling (not leading, please) the country for 15 years, he wanted a retirement pay out of $540,000; a lifetime salary and luxurious Villa. All these excluded the money he stole before now.
He made the requests in view of his retirement in August, 2020. He then died of heart attack on the 8/6/2020, two months to August.

Burundi should not mourn, but be happy.

Pierre Nkurunziza would be fondly remembered for his greed and nothing else.
