Obviously the girl is an Amerian and all the events occurred in America. The official language in America is English with Spanish as second language in few states. So, what other language would she have used from a young age if not English. She dropped out of school at the age of 10. That mean she completed 4years of elementary education. That is grade 4 level. If you are in grade 4 in the USA, you will be able to communicate very well in English and be able to read and write fairly simple tenses without "big" grammars perfectly. Even my grade 2 kid write fairly well with minor corrections needed here and there, and she speaks English well too. And that's in a family where both parents are non native English speakers and kids also pickup the parents native language.

How so almost noble, how so much like the sacrificial lamb of God.
To see them in their true self you may have to dig deeper. Their stories would break a heart of stone.

that is why I don't like condemning a certain category of people other than pray for them, I met a prostitute some years back, very young and beautiful, the first question that popped out of my mouth was, how on earth did you end up here? she told me someone brought her with the promise of a better job from Nigeria, on reaching here, the babe siezed her passport and forced her into prostitution because she has to pay a certain amount of money before she becomes free, you need to see how the babe was talking to me very quietly so her madam doesn't hear us talking, I end up giving her some money and my number to call me if something silly happens, I wanted to help her but my hands were tied and police is corrupt everywhere not just in Nigeria, most of this their madam are well connected that you can't do anything to them if you are not powerful.
