People that enrolled over 5years are yet to be given there ID cards.

Let them do justice to that by registering them now.........make it compulsory.

Why will they have identify?,when it takes your agency like a decade to issue identity card.

I think government should come up with a strategy that will ensure compliance. Government has not shown readiness to capture the identity of its citizens. Voter's card need to be phased out and National Identity card should be used instead.

Therefore, the money that government wants to use to print voter's card in 2023 should be used to print National ID cards

How National Identity card expires if NIN number is for a lifetime, I don't understand. This is a scam and Nigerians should not fall for it. We renew driver's license, international passport when the expire, are we going to be renewing National card again? This is ridiculous

Millions of the people of people up north that call themselves Nigerians are actually not Nigerians.

There's little or no border there and these people can speak hause or re fulani from other countries or re related somehow to Nigerians.... Simply come over and claim to be Nigerians and frankly no one cares...

Secondly, nimc is very incompetent and their staffs re lazy, greedy thieves

So, how did you get the identities of the poorest people that collected palliative?

Meanwhile, I will advise Nigerians especially young people to have at least one National ID as I see many young folks missing out on opportunities that will make their life better due to non-availability of a National ID. Even If you are a student pls get an ID, voters card, drivers licence or an international passport. The cost of getting an ID cannot be compared to a loss of an huge opportunity to make one's lives better

I registered with this government agency to get a National ID card 5yrs Ago but up till now no ID

Simple logic dictates that if we had set up a proper "registration at birth" policy since we have been making noise about national ID and proper census (1976?), a substantial number of Nigerians would be registered by now. What would have been left would be a few mop up Registration of some adults. Why are we failing in all aspects of human endeavor? Greed and ethnic jingoism, I guess

In saner Climes, you are absolutely NOTHING'S without your identity or Social Security Pin/Number.
And they have the database for every citizens.

Those 38% Nigerians, only 5% of it have received their national ID. I registered since 2013 in unilag up till now no card. Abeg make na leave us the way we are no more national lies again.

Other West Africa countries have issued their ID to citizens, because without u will not your international passport.

The NIN slip is just as important as the card �
There you'll find your National Identification Number (NIN) which is the main thing...

They say e get oo, either 5 or 6 years or so (not sure), you need to pay to renew, just like your driver's license
