faibru:Itchy throat does not mean you have the coronavirus. Itching in the throat can be caused by food allergies, acid reflux, and even dehydration. It doesn't mean you have the coronavirus. As a matter of fact, itching throat is not a common symptom of the coronavirus. Dry throat also does not mean you have the coronavirus. If you don't drink enough fluids, you will have a dry throat. If you sleep with your mouth open, you will have a dry throat. If you live in a dry environment (especially during Harmattan), you will have a dry throat. Dry throat is not a common symptom of the coronavirus. Dry cough also does not mean you have the coronavirus. Dry coughs can be caused by cold and flu as well. However, the coronavirus cough is persistent, and leaves you out of breath. Some experts describe it as continuous, that is, sometimes lasting an hour. Dry cough is a common symptom of the coronavirus, but it is also a common symptom of another viral infection, the flu. High temperature also does not mean you have the coronavirus. High temperature is a common symptom of the coronavirus, but it is also a common symptom of nearly if not all of viral and bacterial infections because it is the body's way of telling that something terrible has infiltrated the body system. Shortness of breath is a common symptom of the coronavirus. But still, it doesn't mean you have the coronavirus. Shortness of breath is also a symptom for even far worse medical conditions than the coronavirus such as congestive heart failure. Loss of sense of taste and smell is not a common symptom of the coronavirus. A person who has temporarily lost his sense of taste and smell may be suffering from a cold or the flu, and not necessarily from Covid-19. Repeated sneezing is not even a symptom. So, how does one know that they have the coronavirus? There is only one way to know? Through testing. Because the common symptoms of the coronavirus are similar to the symptoms of either cold, the flu or both the cold and the flu. |

If 14,554 of 85,375 of our population tested are positive,. I wonder how many people will test positive by the time Nigerias 180 million population are all tested.... That simply mean that we all have the virus... Rivers state figure just dey increase anyhow.. Police now sells face mask 1000 to those that have turned their own to pocket mask. Even if you have your face mask in your pocket, bag or holding it without putting it on, you don buy another one from them at 1k be that or you reach station...... . |

[quote author=faibru post=90571019]Open every where... the government is not ready to handle the Chinese birus ...don't lock us down again. ..we are tired A must read BE PREPARED Everyone is telling you how to NOT catch #coronavirus, but NO ONE is saying what to do if you get it. Thanks to this nurse in the UK for putting this guide together: Finally, some sensible advice. From a GP Nurse in the UK. What I have seen a lot of are recommendations for how to try to avoid getting coronavirus in the first place: • good hand washing • personal hygiene • social distancing but what I have NOT seen a lot of is advice for what happens if you actually get it, which many of us will. So as your friendly neighborhood Nurse let me make some suggestions: If you get Covid-19 You basically just want to prepare as though you know you’re going to get a nasty respiratory bug, like bronchitis or pneumonia. You just have the foresight to know it might come your way! Things to start doing now |

UDOKABESTLUV:See the problem with Nigerians, now you are here disturbing God.. Better beg your government to take the fight serious so they can finally flatten the curve if at all they are not making the numbers up but no, you are disturbing God. Those countries you saw doing good, they did not disburb God, they disburbed their leaders. |

Lastorator:The government are not being sincere, and when you as a concerned citizen ask questions some i too know all, self educated people will come to attack you. The thing is simple, the government are not doing well in this fight and it only means one thing, they want it to continue. |

This covid 19 in Nigeria is a total scam. Yes the sickness is here but the way Lagos, Rivers and other states are increasing there cases is outrageous. For example, one should make out time to go this isolation centers, you will now believe what I am telling you. This country is a total scam,if you have malaria is covid 19 |

SirWarlock:And you believe NCDC, the agency that do not believe they ever do anything wrong, look at the situation of coronavirus in Nigeria, still NCDC is always looking for who to blame always. First it was no testing kits, then Nigerians are not coming out for testing, now governors are not sending much samples. |

What did you people mean when you say IT HAS COME TO STAY. I consider this a careless statement. Even those in authority use this statement. Why didn't Ebola stay? we fought it to leave. Yes it has come and it will leave by every one taking responsibilities. |
