On behalf of the good people of Awka south local government area of Anambra state, am sincerely sorry for the total neglect and 'lackasaidal ' attitude we displayed towards the rules and guidelines laid down by the Anambra commissioner for health and the NDDC on covid 19 .
I also want to apologise to the entire people of Anambra state. Please forgive us as we promise to do better and keep to the rules and protocols especially by wearing our face mask and making proper and prompt use of sanitizers . We are sorry for all the pains we have caused you as I plead for leniency on the punishment and curfew placed on awka south only. Once again, I am sorry.
