Especially if you had any week that none of your answers was reviewed.

Even if all weeks were reviewed, what you get by using the method you stated would be different from what you'd get by using the one I stated.

I think LH & Brainly are probably strict and dishing out low ratings in order to cut cost across tutors.

Not really, I don't think this is the case. The best they could do in this regard is limit the number of questions made available. They can't purposely rate you poorly for what you answered right. They don't think like that

Yeah, that's exactly why more answers reviewed results in better HQRR especially if you have any rating below 4. For example, if they review 20 of your answers and 19 were 4&5, that will be 19/20 × 100 = 95%

Now compare this to them reviewing just 8 of your answers and rating 7 4&5, that will be 7/8 × 100= 87.5%

Despite the fact that only 1 was rated poorly in each case.

One of the reasons I had low HQRR in April was caused I answered lots of incomplete questions.
According to them, some incomplete questions are unanswerable.

Probably that's why your answer was rated as 2 (I may be wrong).

This is how I calculate my rough earnings:

Let's say:
My weekly earnings in week 12 is $80 and I had 70% HQRR.
Week 13: 80% ($65)
Week 14: 85% ($70)
Week 15: 90% ($100)
Sum them up: $80 + $65 + $70 + $100
Total Earnings = $315

Multiply eash weekly earnings by its hqrr
70% * $80 = $56
80% * $65 = $52
85% * $70 = $59.5
90% * $100 = $90

Sum them up:
$56 + $52 + $59.5 + $90
My expected earnings = $257.5

Divide by total to give monthly hqrr:
Monthly HQRR = $257.5/$315
HQRR = 73.4%

If at all there'll be a difference with brainly's HQRR, it'll be within the range of +5%

Calculating your monthly HQRR is quite easy. Let's use 4 weeks as an example. Let's say:

In week 1, 10 answers were reviewed and 8 had ratings of 4 or 5.
In week 2, 12 answers were reviewed and 10 had ratings of 4 or 5.
In week 3, 8 answers were reviewed and 8 had ratings of 4 or 5.
In week 4, 10 answers were reviewed and 7 had ratings of 4 or 5.

This means the total answers reviewed for the month = 10 + 12 + 8 + 10 = 40.

The total answers rated 4 or 5 for the month will be= 8 + 10 + 8 + 7 = 33

Then your monthly HQRR will be: 33/40 = 0.825 or 82.5% multiplied by the total earnings for the month which depends on the number of college and high school questions answered.
