Reminiscing the Christian songs I grew up to know,it really shows things have changed: Evangelists Niyi Adedokun,Ojo Ade,Akin Adebayo(Imole Ayo),Mama Bola Are,Mama Fasoyin,Ayo Ni O etc The songs extolled christian and moral virtues, drew one's hearts to God. To sing some of them now is to be old fashioned. Today's christian songs are self-centred and make one think about worldly pleasure. It strirs up enemy consciousness, self-induced happiness, singing God's praises without genuine relationship with Him and singing for fame and money.Christian songs should minister Christ not to entertain people.

My old Songs are still with me, Ron kenoly's first 3 Albums, Don Moen's first 4 Albums, Maranatha Singers Volumes 11,12, Glorify thy Name Album, Joseph Garlington, Panam Percy Paul, J. Daniel, Kirk Franklin first 4 Albums, Donnie Mcclurkin Live in London Album etc

Today's music, there are few very good ones (when compared to the past when they used to be too many good music).

So I stay with the old music and almost do not listen to today's music, they lack the Spirit of God and they are void of Life!
