This article is meant to inform we Nigerian the danger at hand, We all know Mexico was once a Greener pasture for so many countries, because of their good economy from agriculture being the main economic activity with the labor of indigenous and mixed-race peasants. The country also share border with the United States which fasten the development of there economy then. The Fall of The Great Mexico The rise of so many drug Lord's in the Mexico, joaquín Guzmán (a.k.a) "El Chapo: He was the kingpin of Sinaloa Cartel, the largest percentage of drug's imported into the the United States every year which includes marijuana, cocaine,methamphetamine and also heroin, he delivered all by ton through land and air distribution channels. Pablo Escobar: He was responsible for the assassinations of judges, Police officers and reporter's. He even went ahead and planted a bomb on an airplane to kill an opposition candidate to the president but he wasn't on the plane but 110 innocent life's was wasted.Rafael Caro, Ismael Zambada and so many others where responsible for the drug war cartel which lead to serious economy crises. Corruption in Mexico has permeated several segments of society – political, economic, and social – and has greatly affected the country's legitimacy, transparency, accountability, and effectiveness. Similarity To Present Nigerian Society Nigerian was also a Greener pasture for neighbouring countries such as Ghana, Cameroon,Niger and Benin. There was a period when the exchange rate between Naira and pound was #2:1 pound. Due to a very high rate of corrupt leaders , mismanagement lead to the present Economic Pandemic crisis. Which is also related to the Economic downward of Mexico, the increase in fraud star in the country is also in it peak also related to the drug dealers of Mexico. When someone says they are from Nigeria, what comes next in thought is fraud likewise when someone mention Mexico what comes first is drug Lord. Note: We can still make this country great like before when it was a Greener pasture, If the government start thinking of the people rather than themselves. Your opinion is highly appreciated. Please Escobar is not from Mexico. Secondly, a lot of Nigerians have escaped to Mexico with hope of better life. Thirdly Mexico is co-hosting the 2026 World Cup, so don't even compare Nigeria to Mexico not to talk of telling Nigeria not to go their way. If Nigeria is like Mexico, it would be better. |
