He destroyed ondo state education, and ondo student now became herdsmen seeking for admission in other state...raise the sch fees of their state University to 250k..from 26k, he says the current fee can not buy a pair of shoes then, it jus of recent he started is caricature strive for his second term agender and his amatekun fight and all the drama, he destroyed the legacy mimiko left for the state in terms of education... if u give ondo man education and food, he will prefer education.. those guys love book very well and they can go hurry to train their kids unlike oyo state.. after electing him he will go back to his true nature...if ondo are wise..they should go for another candidate.

On assumption of office, Aketi inherited 7months salary arrears from his predecessor, Mimiko. He has cleared 6 months so far and still paying the current salary as and when due. He's also paying 30k minimum wage.

Secondly, Even Oshiomhole lost Edo State to the PDP in the Presidential Election. So that's not a new thing.

The Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN has rehabilitated Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa (OAUSTECH)

The Governor who disclosed this via twitter account, explained that the University, formerly known as Ondo State University of Science and Technology, (OSUSTECH) had been abandoned for 8 years.

In his tweets, the Governor said "We met the Ondo State University of Science and Technology in a horrid state, completely abandoned for 8 years. Unperturbed, we set out to transform it. We have given it new life and a new name; Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Tech. #DevelopOndo"

In another tweet, Governor Akeredolu stated that education is essential to achieving growth and development in a state. The Governor, thereby promise that more will be done to achieve his administration's goal of building a technology institution recognised all over the world.

"Universities are great engine rooms for economic growth and development. Our work is not done. Plenty more to come. We will achieve our goal of building a Top Tier Technology institution recognized all over the world."

Very Confused governor.

Nigeria has more than enough Universities.

It is jobs, jobs and more jobs that most of those graduates in Nigeria needs and not just over blown amount of Universities.

The construction of the university was flagged-off by The former Governor of Ondo State, Dr Olusegun Agagu on Friday 31st October, 2008. Unfortunately, the change of Government in Ondo State in February 2009 brought a halt to the on-going construction of various projects at the site based on directives from the then new Government led by Dr Olusegun Mimiko. If you want to blame anyone, blame Mimiko for the state of the Uni until Aketi renovated it unless you are playing politics with the issue.
