If you could be careless enough to allow an unauthorised person board an aircraft and even fly on an unauthorised date, then you could carelessly allow terrorists enter into the US or even fly poorly maintained aircrafts which could crash on US cities.

Firstly he gave the wrong info to d authorities, secondly the ban on local flights has been lifted, so it's not a matter of the plane flying without d authorities knowing as you insinuated. Lastly he broke the law and should be held accountable there's not much the airport authority would have done to know the real purpose of his journey to abj.
