Change your topic to "Inventory Management" rather than "Stock Management". While both are synonymous, Stock Management may lead people to think of Stocks as traded in a Stock Exchange

Also, lookup the open source software called openboxes (not openbox o, openboxes). It's a highly robust inventory management solution. You could pick a handful of ideas about what functionality to include in your product.
