Obaseki is waiting for his call-up letter to either APC or PDP so that he can determine what happen in that party. He will fail in court even if he will the election

I didn't read the post but I know Oshomole has certainly got more than he bargained for.

Obaseki has proven not to be a pushover like someone who is now being associated with cowardice.

The "Obaseki is a goner" crew are not so loud anymore.

I personally do not care if obaseki wins or not just as long as Oshomole doesn't have his way of dictating for the state. Something he fought against and called his greatest achievement.

We Edo people will show Oshomole that edo is not Lagos.

We Edo people are saying no to godfatherism
Bros hope you’re going to vote or na just keyboard voter you be

I can bet my 2 active kidneys that I am never going to sell for a few millions that whoever the writer was wrote it after collecting a big check from Oshiomole.

I am not from Edo but everyone in Edo State attested to the fact that this guy's only crime was saying no to impunity, ibeberism, godfatherism and being transparent as well as closer to the grassroot..
100% True.

Obaseki is in a stronger position than he has ever been. APC, PDP and SDP want him to be their party flag bearer. Edo state is massively mobilizing for him. Oshiomole is neutralized.
All he has to do is avoid getting caught by the deadline.

So again I say this article is rubbish.

Stop being myopic. So someone that is performing should be replaced because he is not playing party politics. It is clear you don't know even understand the problem bedeviling this country.

Because don't know when someone is commenting about party politics and not governance.

These are among our copy and paste Professors that sell their conscience to thugs of politics for a few wads of Naira.

quote author=Cantonese post=90794855]Simply put a lot of our professors in this country have ended up making mockery of themselves. With what we see at election centers, with professors as returning officers, they should bow their faces in shame.

This man probably thought it was business as usual when Obaseki became governor. Oshiomole was given a dose of the same pill he gave Anenih when he single handedly brought Obaseki.

To fight Anenih, one leg of Oshiomole's stool was corruption. Can he tell any reasonable person that what sustains his party people in Edo state is not corruption? When he deceptively introduced Obaseki as a technocrat, what played behind the scenes we did not hear. But going by the Nigerian politicians that we know one of the conditions would have been regular supply of public funds. The governor failed that agreement and that simply is the no. 1 reason for the battles. This professor also did not get free funds.

Oshiomole late last year in the incident in Iyamho when he was attacked by thugs said that he did not teach Obaseki/Shuaibu what they did. So we could deduce that he taught them certain things, one of which was how to end godfatherism. He taught them all how he resisted and defeated the late Tony Anenih. Today they applied the same instrument against him.

How would the professor talk about thuggery and breaking down people's properties? Oshiomole did worse things. Remember Bob Izua? What about the widow?

We need good professionals in politics and not professional politicians. If it takes men with the will like Obaseki to make our states and nation better let's support them.

People like this hypocritical professor should bow their faces in shame. The governor has found a party. If he does not return as governor he has at least opened the eyes of Edo people more to the destruction of their state by some greedy people.

Let's leave politics aside, how exactly is he performing?

It is clear you don't know even understand the problem bedeviling this country.
Let's go back to politics again. Any politician who fights the platform upon which he is elected can't go far in politics or governance, let that stick to your brain. If he's elected on another platform and repeat all these drama again, he will still have the same problem.

Naturally when Nigerians hate sombody, it is hard to see the fact,,,, research on the reason the court ruled judgement in favour of Bayelsa PDP,, and give names of two governors that has been removed based on discrepancies before Bayelsa election,,, yes Oshiomole want Obaseki out no arguments,, but you must agree with me that the issues of discrepancy was always over looked by the Judiciary until Bayelsa elections,,
Lol. All these people with their skewed reasoning.

First, which discrepancy has the Judiciary been over looking?

Before I can give you the names of two governors that have been removed by the court for discrepancies in their certificates, please give me the names of two governors that have been dragged to court for discrepancies in their certificates. That's where we should start from. After giving me the names of the governors, we can then go into the records to see if the plaintiffs were able to prove their case in court that the certificates of such governors had discrepancies.

The following is the summary of our exchanges.

You: Obaseki was disqualified because there were discrepancies in his certificates and APC wants to avoid what played out in Bayelsa

Me: There are no discrepancies in Obaseki's certificate. Oshiomole just wants him out as governor

You: Judiciary has been overlooking discrepancies in the certificates of governors and their deputies until the Bayelsa judgement, hence the need to screen out Obaseki. Name two governors that have been removed because of discrepancies in their certificates

Me: first, the Judiciary has not been overlooking any discrepancies. It doesn't even make sense.
Before I name two previous governors that have been removed because of discrepancies in their cert, pls name two governors that have been dragged to court for discrepancies in their cert, because I don't know of any. After naming such governors, we can then look at the judgement of the court and why they gave such judgement. But, first things first, name 2 Governors that have been dragged to court for discrepancies in their cert.
