Blackking98:
Deadline is June 29
PDP originally fixed their primaries for 23rd before moving it to 19th and now back to 23rd of June.
Kola olagbodiyan just spoke on ait this evening and he categorically stated that they got the permission of inec before changing date. This is quite misleading and fake.
Mynd44 and other mods please do the needful
The source is vanguard, does the mod have power over that organization?

If you still think that PDP shut itself, then you don't understand the game PDP is playing.

PDP has not erred.

It clearly states the new date does not meet the mandatory 1 week notification. How are they in line?

What do you expect from APC. So the think PDP can be dumb to reschedule the primaries without recourse to INEC. Blame the mod for pushing anything without proper check.
Inec giving them permission means nothing.the question is whether a rule was broken or not

they could have change the date to 26-27

They had scheduled 23rd since last month, now shifted to 19th....what they did today is tell INEC that they have returned to their initial plan....Before doing that..they sought INEC's permission and it was granted them.

You can hear Barr. Festus Okoye nah.

it is left to inec to inteprete it's own law.APC might cash out on this to nullify PDP primary

APC doesn't have to got to court. If PDP goes ahead to use the new date, INEC will declare the primary null and void and PDP won't have a governorship candidate.

ORIENTATION101:
read carefully again.

According to inec rules Party must first write 21 days to the primary

If there will be reschedule inec must be notified before 7 days to the primary , but PDP only notified them change of primary only 2 days.
How did you know when PDP notified INEC?,are you a member of NEC?.
Are you more qualified than their lawyers?
If you give your problems attention the way you're giving PDP,you would have been a better person by now.

Read again, it is only the 21 days notice that is backed by law.

It is now left for INEC to enforce the election guidelines like they did in the case of Zamfara APC.

PDP are not worthy, because they have shown that they don't have worthy aspirants. They are waiting for a person APC declared unfit to contest.

They are party of leftovers looking forward to crumbs that fall from APC table.

SHAME
You lured an Ize-Iyamu from PDP and one of your own moved in there and yet you make such an ascertion?
Besides,he wasn't a leftover when he held sway in his first tenure but now he suddenly becomes a leftover candidate.

Lol.
This will be very funny when Obaseki realizes PDP made a mistake not informing Inec and he tries to go back to the APC when it has conducted its primaries. It will be a serious dilemma for Obaseki.
