SocialJustice:
APC doesn't have to got to court. If PDP goes ahead to use the new date, INEC will declare the primary null and void and PDP won't have a governorship candidate.
Another Emotional being!
Constitution of the Republic: 21 days ( sacrosanct)
Inec Guideline: 7 days notice
Now go back and read Festus Okiye's statement.
And then find out about Supreme Court's verdict on Superiority of Constitution to guidelines as regards election.
Come back and correct yourself.

ORIENTATION101:
Paragraph 7.2 of the Regulation and Guidelines provides that rescheduling of any scheduled primary shall be by written communication to the Commission not later than 7 days to the new date, stating clearly, the reason for rescheduling”, he added.
PDP has already notified INEC of the shift in date.

Deadline is June 29
PDP originally fixed their primaries for 23rd before moving it to 19th and now back to 23rd of June.
Kola olagbodiyan just spoke on ait this evening and he categorically stated that they got the permission of inec before changing date. This is quite misleading and fake.
Mynd44 and other mods please do the needful

They are required to notify INEC stating clearly the reason(s) for the rescheduling as well as the date, venue, and mode of the primary election, at least seven days before the new date.

Just listen to yourself echoing what PDP official said! SMH. Originally scheduled the date for 23rd before changing it to 19th, wasn't that official? If they're changing it back to 23rd now, that means another official notice within the INEC stipulated guidelines

What do you expect from APC. So the think PDP can be dumb to reschedule their primaries without recourse to INEC. Blame the mod for pushing anything without proper check.

Dansuqi you need to know PDP is ahead when it comes to issues like this.

You think you and your co-travellers are right and mod made mistake? I don't blame many of you, comprehension is hard to come by these days.

All I know is that wherever Obaseki goes, Edo goes with him. The mandate to transform Edo State must be completed, especially as the road project in my area is yet to be completed

Two of u are correct. It is dat INEC man dat is at fault here.He affirmed the two positions. At one end,he made it look as if dere is a problem with it but on de oda hand,he makes it look as if dere no problem since it's still within de time frame of electoral guidelines on political activities which ends on de 27th.He is a confusionist for giving such a conflicting ruling. He is not fit to be de Commission's Director of voter's education dat he is at all..oo.
