It’s the sickest thing. I think all the police officers involved in that arrest should be sacked. Shame on Nigerian police. Nigerian police need to be sanitized and their oga sacked. It’s like he doesn’t know what he is doing and police generally lack training.

They don’t even know why they are police and what police officers can do. How can police arrest someone and detain without a court order? All they can do is invite for questioning and release the person immediately after. Or as soon as the person says they want their lawyer.

I think Dbanj is very guilty and is acting highly unstable and erratic. Can you imagine small D’banj who sells koko garri can pull this off. Imagine what a politician will do. Nigerian police fear God because it might be you or your family members tomorrow!

Proper investigation must be done

If he did it, I really hope a thorough and transparent investigation will be conducted this time around. Nigeria needs a poster child of punishment for rape. It is soooo soooo scary to think that it is this widespread. And I believe the reason why it is this much is because no one is getting punished, and in few cases where the victim manage to bravely speak up it is often submerged under the silly cultural practice of accepting a 'sorry' and perhaps some few coins as sufficient reparation.

No more sorry-s. No more apologies. We need the criminals removed permanently from amidst us.
