On the basis of 2023 calculation by the northern cabals,and going by the nepotistic antecedents of Mr Buhari who would definitely prefer to have a northerner as his successor, Obaseki might laugh last.

Buhari has used APC to realise his presidential ambition and that's where the usefulness of the party ends as far as he is concerned. This might be the beginning of the end of APC as a party. All his papers used to contest under APC are not necessary again the moment he resigned as APC membership... His resignation Removes all the burden of so called inconsistency ..Obaseki will Now freshly present just only one testimonial or waec only and he is good to go.

I am not from Edo State. So it is not my business who wins as long as I am allowed passage to Lagos and back to Anambra.

Look, Pastor Osaze did not suddenly take over the EDO APC structure as the LEADER. Unlike what Gov. Obaseki will do in PDP with the infusion of his supporters. Mind you, party Executive committees at all levels will be dissolved to accommodate the supporters that followed him. Of course, there will resistance, quarrels and movements. There will be inter-party realignments that will lead to PDP members moving over to join APC. It's all politics and I am just analyzing.
