Hmm. Sad. Even some top institutions are also involved. It's funny how people bad mouth University of Lagos (UNILAG)) for being a school culpable for 'backdoor' dealings and yet.... what do we have here?? University of First choice and the Nations Pride #UNILAG 14 Likes |

Same thing with EKSU My sister had 223 in Jamb, 64% in screening yet was not given admission despite the department cutoff mark being 50%. Checked in with a lecturer and discovered she was recommended for entrepreneurship. SMH. Who needs a degree to be an entrepreneur these days. 11 Likes |

Dis is killing our education system really. Most people dont get what they applied for, hence, they settled for a lesser course while some are not qualified but they end up getting the course they applied for. On the long run, they constitute d association of educated illiterates in Nigeria. |

Failed system but in actual sense Universities are right because they should be autonomous. Jamb recommends, it is now left for university to admit.. Jamb has no right whatsoever to tell any university who and who not to admit. You can only see such nonsense in Nigeria not in other civilisation. On a serious note Jamb should be scrapped. 5 Likes 1 Share |

Corruption have overtaken the fabric of every aspect of the Nigerian system. How do we have a developed country when the institutions that are charged with the responsibility of developing leaders are good in cutting corners. 1 Like |
