Precisely at 21 years. I was opportuned to do my Siwes IT with one top oil management company. I was discouraged when I realized IT student were paid #19,800. So most of my friend turned it off. Sooner than later, I was properly introduced to the system. Which are weekend job Saturday and Sunday which pays 23k. So in a month, if you did 3week weekend job, you claim your money for 3wks 23k * 3. You don't even need to come just call someone to help you sign attendance. Also food allowance and transport only given to those who know about it. They rest money is into ogas pocket. All of these only happens if you do well to ogas. There are lot of corruption in that system and if you are God fearing, you won't be liked by them. 22...was into generator repairs at my Bros shop then in kaduna..... several months of savings in the bank. That money actually helped me quite well. helped my kid sis register for her waec then, used 20k to pay for my apprenticeship under a builder and today, I am an architect by academic qualification and a builder by practical experience. 603 Likes 27 Shares |

Hmmn.... Dis question brings back memories. Anyway, it was my first salary as a banker. Omo, u can imagine d joy of leaving ur father's house after school n NYSC n after struggling for job for months, u finally landed one that paid me my first salary even when I was still in training school.....
