In public service/civil servant one needs to abide to the ethics of the job and never dabble into politics matter... The politicians comes and go but you remain in your service till retirement...

May God saves us from His Trials in our line of duty...

What many failed to realize is that Gen Otiki is one of the likely name to be picked as the next Chief Of Army Staff since the position is going Southwards especially southwest but a certain Gen Adeosun who happens to be the head of the Court that tried and convicted Gen Otiki is highly interested ìn the same position. The bottom line is, Gen Hakeem Otiki was set up by the forces within that wants him out at all cost.

They stole the money and gave it to him abi?

Think a little. Have you wondered why Nigerian generals from the south can't command an all out offensive against Boko haram? It is because if you do so, you will get the Otiki treatment.

See how a General was dismissed for not rigging election.

Did he commit an offense or not?

I think this punishment is too harsh for someone described to have served meritoriously for 34years and as a first time offender within the remaining one year. Let him just retire as this may be internal politics in the military. Its like a ball hanging on a thread, its rolling and might be someone else's turn tomorrow.

I can't understand why people believe this bullshit PR stunt. Was Gen. Otiki guilty of the offense? YES! His lawyers were pleading for clemency. So why are some gullible persons trying so hard to promote the poor quality PR conspiracy theory stunt?

I admire your commitment to Christ, but with the way you reason am ehn, this matter pass you.
Until you are privileged to have a close friend or friends who are high or mid ranked officers in the military, hold your peace.
You clearly don't know what is going on.
From a thousand naira, you can buy without paying with cash, but he chosed to take 400 million naira to the seller.
Don't be naive please.

Once again, poor structure, root of corruption.
What kind of structure will officially place 100 million naira in cash in the hands of a Two- star Army General for 'furniture'. Is this not demeaning, unprofessional, irresponsible. Will Generals of Armies of other nations not be utterly perplexed by this story...

We act completely out of civilisation in this country, honestly.

There is no damned reason why someone should be moving 100 million in cash in this era of cashless society except if there is some fraud involved. General carry your cross

No.
It flew past over your head.
Since most Nigerians love corruption, it is pointless asking for a sector of the economy immune from
corruption when the same opportunistic Nigerians are the ones running it.
I hope you got it now.
