COMPAQ:
I am not sure there has been any report showing state of progress on these ports. I'm sure if you go there, the site is mostly empty.

Having said that journalists in Nigeria are the laziest in the world. Both print, radio and TV. All they do is follow politician up and down and quote verbatim with little or no independent analysis like Newsweek, Time, Economist, Wall Street Journal etc.

So no newspaper or TV station can do a report on these projects and take a drone to take ariel clips as part of their report? Meanwhile YouTube is full of project reports of so many foreign projects - airports, dams, bullet trains, nuclear fusion facilities, and etc.
Ok sir. You can also help us do some of these you've listed

There is Lekki seaport. Individuals don't own ports. Dangote has a jetty.
Spot on sir

Ghana is getting electricity from Nigeria and is billed by Nigeria,Ghana celebrates uninterupted power supply,Nigeria doesnt have light. Have you thought of that ?
Is this correct? I googled this and nowhere does it say Ghana purchases electricity from us. What they buy from us is gas via the WAGP (West Africa Gas Pipeline), which they use to generate electricity.

Ibom Deep Seaport And Lekki Seaport To Start Operation 2021 Federal Government - The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Shippers’ Council, Hassan Bello

“Based on this, we are also glad that two new important ports will operate in 2021. The Lekki Deep Sea Port and the Ibom Deep Sea Port.

These are very important contributions of government through public private partnerships. Lekki, for example, will create about 180,000 jobs.

The same thing with Ibom and I want to congratulate the government of Akwa Ibom and the Federal Government in all these PPPs.”

let me tell you this straight in the south south we recognize and would rather partner with the south east than the south west just to educate you on the uselessness of regional politics
Yes ..

In the south south and south east see each other as daily neighbors no issues but the south west are the minority here and band together in tiny groups grin

The south west isn't recognized or regarded here in south south and south east

Next time learn a thing or two before spreading hate

Me either am not a journalist sha, when I saw the news I read through then decided to share it. The ibom seaport is awaiting federal government presentation and approval . What I can say was we were lied to by Akpabio administration about Ibaka when no visible studies was conducted. Udom carefully when through all the facts and discover that Ibeno was the ideal place and he now change the name to ibom instead of Ibaka and started everything afresh . Now we are at the last phase of FEC approval

You don't just walk in and start clearing site

The paper works for approval is the most important and difficult. That has been done

Site clearing which is the easiest part of the seaport construction needed that legal framework
