johnjunior39:If you look at the contract given to Luiz You'll know the club is heading towards the right direction sincerely He's there to mentor the Young ones |

The board should do fast about saka. His contract renewal is the most important of all. |

johnjunior39:There are other competitions outside EPL and Luiz is a cheaper option to fill those spots. We should be looking at spending heavily on the midfield instead. |

kokaneprodigy:Çan you trust Luiz against Brentford and Liverpool's U19s in those cup games? Don't forget we're certain to have our defenders miss games from suspensions and injuries, can luiz deputize or even help us in Europa? I agree we need to bring in Thomas partey and attacking midfielder, then move Ozil and xhaka out. |
| Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Nobody: 12:17pm On Jun 24, 2020 |
Fkhalifa:1. Luiz won’t be frequenting our games 2. He’s a cheaper option considering we have pressing areas in midfield which don’t come cheap in the market. 3. I strongly believe if we get our midfield right attackwise and defensewise there’ll be less pressure in the back line and less mistakes too. Look at the shots on target stats of our last two games you’ll understand better how that midfield setup leaves us exposed even if u have 2 VVDs it’s just a matter of time before they let one in.

Those people shouting Partey up and down like malians, I hope you won;t be disappointed. Because no matter who we buy, if the general mentality and mediocre culture bedeviling our club doesn't change then we are still in a long thing. |

Besides replacing any player, how can we solve our defensive woes? For the having a never lose or concede mentality is the key. Mentality is what keeps most teams going when they are on a particular streak. It also increases concentration levels and makes everyone proactive. |

For the rest of this season, Arteta would do well to make Mustafi a leader. One who could give orders in-game. One who could saddle the responsibility of us not losing another match till season is over. He is not the great defender we want, but he has got grits, voice, and passion. Plus he rarely gets injured. That defense needs a leader and a reader. A Mertesacker type. One who would sit back and organise his defense. I am proposing Mustafi. |

Roland17:The mentality of the club is so poor, mediocre is even a compliment. The board and management must begin to look at themselves. They have not provided enough impetus to drive in a win at all cost culture into our players. |
