How are people coming by 60, 43, and so on?

Use your calculator and type

10 + 5 * 4

The answer is 30. Don't forget BODMAS. Multiply first.

5 + 5 + 10 = 20

4 + 4 + 5 = 13

10 + 5 * 4 = 45 (bodmas)

If you use BODMAS as you claim, the answer is 30.

A pair of shoes-10
That is 24
Multiplied by one ice cream which is 2
That is 48.

Equation 1: X + X + X = 30
X = 10

Equation 2: Y + Y + X = 20
Y + Y + 10 = 20
Y = 5

Equation 3: Z + Z + Y = 13
Z + Z + 5 = 13
Z = 4

Therefore:

X/2 + Y/2 * Z = ?

BODMAS: X/2 + (Y/2 * Z) = ?

5 + (4/2*5) = 15
