Pls I purchased the Haier thermocool 180 fridge yesterday', didn't put it in throughout yesterday as there was no light.
This morning Nepa brought light and within an hour the upper freezer was already chilled and blocked sef, the light stayed from 8-11:30, and I just went to check the upper fridge at about 12:40..it's still cold tho, but the blocks has defrozed, na water full there now..
Please is this normal??

A friend suggested observing it for one more week.
As it is under a three year warranty
If the problem persists j will return it..

there is nothing to observe, return it and ask for replacement

yes very normal..... Was there any content in it? If no, that is the cause.......

There were a few items inside,
Which are still cold even till now..

for you to get that ice frost you are looking for that freezer need to be ON For like 9hrs with uninterrupted power supply you will see the result....

Pls I noticed that water leaks out of the fridge, I have read the manual and it's says there is a drain hole, which drains the water down to the bottom tray of the fridge, I can't seem to find the drain hole..

if it's a deep freezer you can see the drain hole, very visible to the eyes...... But for fridge just carry a small bowl and keep under that place water is dropping, they suppose to have a pipe there
...

It appears to be dropping from behind the fridge..
I don't even know how to handle this matter..
Thinking of calling the dealer.

1) For the blocks to last longer the fridge needs to be on for at least 4-5 hours ... And also just incase always make sure you close the fridge properly after use

2) Their is supposed to be a water drainage at the back, the water should pour into a plate. The plate should be ontop of the compressor

The plate in referring to is something like this in the below photo... It's called a water collector

You need to check if their is any water collector on your fridge .. if their is , then make Sure the fridge is standing upright what way the water can flow through the drainage and pour directly on the plate (Water collector) ..

In this fridge there is no plate ontop of the compressor
