This is why I thought the lockdowns in Nigeria are counterproductive. The economic hardship it will cause will be severe, longlasting and devastating on people's health. In turn, the impact of the lockdown on the spread of coronavirus will be negligible.

At times, I wonder how salary earners think, especially those working with private firm. Do they think Business owners are father Christmas, who established a business just to feed them?

This is not about Buhari... Job cuts and losses are currently widespread across the globe.

This is an inevitable fallout from economic hibernation due to the pandemic. The world economy is on a long arduous route to recovery... This will take a while!!!

This is also why some nations had to make the dangerous but necessary decision to reopen their economies even while still having numbers of new Infection!!!...

Those Kids and unemployed youths are just fools. They want everybody to be sitting at home like them.
The company where i work, sacked several staffs nationwide first week of this month and if things dont improve soon with this Corona Virus they will sack more by August. Everybody aside Management staffs are shaking at the moment.

I thought academic staff members were on the safer part but i was wrong. I just got the sack letter in my mail yesterday & it was like a dream..... But now I'm awake to the reality & will ride on the wings of the little investment I made until I find somewhere within or outside the shore of the country to pitch my tent. Life goes on
