Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki has emerged as PDP governorship candidate.

News has it that all aspirants stepped down few minutes to commencement of the party Governorship Primaries.

A total of 2,229 delegates were expected to decide who emerges as the standard bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party for the Edo State governorship election, slated to hold on September 19, 2020.

This was disclosed in Abuja on Wednesday by Mr Kola Ologbondiyan, PDP National Publicity Secretary.

He said the party followed due process in line with its time-tested procedures of electing eligible delegates, who had the responsibility of electing the most suitable candidate among the array of eligible aspirants seeking to fly the party’s flag in the governorship election.

For now , he is confident that he will win.

But when the time for Election reach, what happened in Ekiti and Osun state will repeat itself.

We already know.
Oshiomole will never be the chairman again. And APC will fight with all their blood to make sure that they win Edo.

As for Baba Tinubu, they will look for a way to settle him. He may not have the presidential Ticket in 2023, but one of his boys like Ambode or Osibanjo will be offered the position.
