Nigerians on social media have taken to different platforms to blast man identified as, Mr Chidiebere Ogbonna, who reportedly returned #1.8 million he found in a carton of indomie noodles he bought. The carton was only partially filled with noodles coupled with bundles of #1000 notes.
According to him, he got home, opened the carton and when he saw what was inside, he immediately returned it back. When he was asked his reasons for returning the cash, he said the money was not his, so there was no reason for him to keep it.

The vendor who could not hold back his joy, thanked him and told the man to come and collect a carton of indomie whenever he needs it till December.
The funniest part of this story are reactions on facebook to his returning the money.

Oga, there is nothing corrupt here. I won't return the money because I didn't steal it. There was no news about any cash of that amount missing anywhere.. Even the sales person didn't know about such a thing.that is a blessing o!! My conscience will be clear. But if it were to be a situation where as an uber driver I find such amount in my car probably after a trip, I will return it because I know who it belongs to. No matter how much time it will take me to reconnect with the owner. But this indome situation, I wont.
