Please overlook my grammatical errors...

I'll try to summarize as brief as I can.

I've known this guy since secondary school days...we been friends since then,let me just say we leave in same area, cos it's a close proximity ...so we do visit each other constantly, know lots of things about each other... The problem now is that, I'm the kind of person who doesn't lack money BACK THEN cos I have someone who Carters for me, I also get money from her... I buy anything buyable both for me and me friend most times when we are together, he knows me well for that... I do give him anytime he ask if I have...WE EAT AT EACH OTHER'S place when ever the opportunity arise...somehow I lost my guardian, but was working before her death where I get money, so I didn't feel it at all, I still get a lot of tips from my former place of work... I give to my friend,if the need arises...sometimes he will be at school and call me that I should help him with so so amount I will send him, sometimes it could be card,anythig I can afford I will send... Though I just like giving I never knew what it means to be really HUNGRY AND NOT KNOWING WHERE THE NEXT MEAL IS GONNA COME FROM!!!


So tragedy struck me about 3 months ago I lost my job and since I spent all the money I have left... My dad who actually doesn't care whether one survives or not manages to give me #150 per day as meal money and sometimes I don't get, cos when I was working I was the one feeding him(story for another day)

As I have searched everywhere for job and I couldn't find... The ones I see they say the ban should be completely lifted before I can be employ, so during this time I manage to get some money from my elder brother #3k,me and my siblings are doing survival of the fittest, so he too is struggling I can't be disturbing his life,i hate it when I'm inconveniencing someone ... So, during this time I do go the my friend's house who gives me food but not always... I've eaten with them before when they were eating dinner, I've even eaten breakfast with them before... I can say I've eaten like 4 times in their house in the space of two months while his mum is present,though we eat sometimes if his mum is not present... Normally I don't beg people cos I'm a really shy person but I felt since we are together and we know each other wella it shouldn't be a problem but to be sincere... I'm always shy each time I'm there all because of hunger...

So tonight I went there, we sat outside around 8:06 and Nepa brought the light, so he ask us to go inside... As we where inside watching a program on TV, it's like they are serving dinner so his mum called him inside the bedroom (my instincts already told me it's or could be about me)... So some minutes later, I could hear his mum talking cos of the TV noise I couldn't grab everything but all I could hear clearly was "dis one wey go dey come here everytime ","now sef wey be say money no dey","make he no go find work"...i couldn't move where I sat down again... I was like wow!!!

But my friend didn't know I heard all what she said he thought I was concentrating on the TV... After some minutes I told him I got to go watch Chelsea match... So he escorted me and I went home...

I got home and tears dripped from my eyes...

Please don't insult me... I'm still reminiscing about the words I hear tonight, though the woman has always been speaking nicely before... And I don't blame her though me myself I'm ashamed of me... But what can I do when corona virus saga just destroyed my chances of getting a job now...

What do I do?

Just hope. Everything will be fine.

Job will come and you will be on your feet in no time

WoW, so cruel and cold... but its life.

You can either get crushed by it or YOu can rise above it stronger.

I understand the pain you feel, its not fair she would talk to you that way BUT lemme give you some redpill for success in life...

BE A LION.... Lions are never afraid to hunt alone, stop tagging with people.... give yourself 6 months of personal development.

I want you to be your very best, dont quit even when you make MONEY, do not tell/give any one.... you know why? Because they won't give you when you are in need o.

When you make some money, invest, save and plan so you will NEVER BE BROKE AGAIN IN LIFE.

I really want you to take the pain you feel now and use it to push yourself forward. It is not easy but you will succeed I assure you.... God may allow you go through this kind of stuff to wake you up that in life..... NO ONE WILL KEEP YOU AROUND IF YOU ARE NOT A SUCCESS.


I want you to work on yourself till you become the very best version of yourself. Then you will see how everyone even that woman will treat you so nice.

Don't go there again shikena.. What's the big deal? . Probably they are managing to eat as well so the woman just decided to voice out.. Just keep searching and praying... Lamenting wouldn't change your condition.. What we should think about now is the solution.
