I was really glad when I saw the first thread which I will be attaching the link here. I have been doing that for a while now and I got even more encourages when I saw that post and how some youths have decided to wake up. So many people must have discouraged Nelson Mandela when he started but he never gave up. That's the kinda spirit I expect from everyone of you.

Are you aware that the youth contributes a larger percentage of voters and that automatically means victory for any candidate they endorse. We are an inch away from victory, all we need now is to be composed and strategise..

Firstly we should get a facebook, twitter and IG page to announce our presence. Nairaland night be a nice place to kickoff, but don't expect anything exceptional from Seun. He cannot play the role of anti-government at this time so let's look for some other alternatives while we use Nairaland as backup.

Finally we may need to form a political party as elections are not won online..

If we can convince enough youths, they will be able to convince their family.. The only huddle I see in this is finance.. Those big parties got so much cash to throw around.. SOWORE comes to mind..

Together we can make Nigeria better.

I did not create this page to do away with the former one, lets continue to keep the original thread alive please.. I only did this cos I was late to the show and it's something I have been craving for, been working on this for a while now and I must say it's but easy and yet it is easy.. Commitment and consistency will help us yield good Result... Let me remind you, I got several bashing for using the GOD BLESS NIGERIA TAG, but today several Nairalanderz have adopted it.

The change we want will only come if we act..

Greetings to you dear brother and comrade in the struggle for a Nigeria of our dreams.

The need to retire the old foxes and take our destinies, future, country, and lives in our hands is what has given birth to this movement.

So many have gone on to call me all manner of names and trying to dissuade me but I remain resolute in my resolve to galvanize enough of us youths leveraging on our huge numbers to say "enough is truly enough".

I'm going to share this little story with you.

Over 20 years ago, with these same old foxes calling the shots and the general mood of the country was chaos and utter unpredictability, a good number of us had decided to take ours and our family. destinies in our hands by bracing the fiery deserts of the Sahara desert, and raging waters of the Atlantic/Meditteranean en route Spain and Italy for a better life and to dig our families out from the chains of hopelessness this wasteful lots had plunged the average Nigerian into.

The idea then was, why just sit down like a lame-duck without much of an attempt at life when I can actually make a move to better my fortunes, and should I die in the process, that should at least count for something that I died trying to have a life instead of sitting idly, not making an effort, and still perishing in hunger.

Yes, a lot of us perished along the way but we died with our chins up while we saw our lives flashed right before us while laying curses on the demons who had destroyed a country rich in the best of whatever God could deposit under and above a land. We were proud to be dying as a people who tried to better their lots instead of giving up hope, complaining to no end, and accepting to allow a rotten status quo be a norm.

So much bro has inspired me into rallying the youths for this movement.

The movement we seek to build is simply to leverage on the huge youth numbers for a generational shift and a social revolution like never before seen in Nigeria.

They'd try to hunt us down, oppress and silence us but there is certainly so much they can silence. The entire youths of the country is what they will have to contend with.

Taking a cue from the failure of other movements, this is to be set up in such a way that infiltration by saboteurs and agents will amount to a waste of time.

We are first of all leveraging on the advantages of the social media to mobilize as much people as we can. Everyone is an equal stakeholder and leader in the group. There shall be state coordinators, LGA coordinator down to ward levels for information dissemination.

Please, kindly come on our telegram group. We are still in the formative process trying to get it right from the foundation so as not to go the way of others.

The movement isn't going to be about one man, it is about the Nigerian youth.

We know not North, South, East, West, Muslim, Christian, after all the enemies of state as they are presently composed are non-discriminatory. The Nigerian youths is all that matters to us.

Please, join us let's share ideas on the best way forward.

As per finance, let's get a structure and get going, the financial aspect will be sorted.

Telegram/whatsapp should be for strategizing and not mobilising right??

Cos the best online mobilization platform should be facebook, IG and twitter.

That's good initiative. But trust me bro we need a lot of work to do. Without people backing us we can't do anything. And trust me we can't find any help from Nigerian elites. We need foreign backing. Country like America, Canada. I will not include British Because they like the way our politicians oppress us. The money they stolen in Nigeria they use it to build company and estates in United kingdom.

Those youth activists of 80 and 90 century has some top military ranking backing ,and they got help from elites most Especially business moguls.

Pls only if u can adhere to this! let's create one account On all SM platform like Facebook, telegram,Twitter,Instagram etc wallahi it will be nice if we can do that bcs not everyone as access to telegram, two pls the link to this site pls share so that ever one can joined to.

Another point that's going through my right now I don't think we can use telegram/WhatsApp or any other SM for strategize(My opinion..... bcs one their will be too much message to read, two the massages will accumulate too much and it will be difficult to start reading up/down....

Sorry I couldn't join the telegram page, when you create one for whatsapp or FB let me know.. That said, here are my few contributions.. Help me drop on telegram.

I think we need a formidable Name which will be used to address this movement cos that will help use spread faster and will stay longer that any #tag which will only last for weeks.. From that name we can coin out an acronym which will now be our new #tag. Let's say the name of our movement is NIGERIAN YOUTHS MOVEMENT, we can have a #tag like NYM2023 .Every of our member will be mandated to have this at the bottom of every of their post online, this acronym will cause a lot of people to ask question when they start seeing it frequently, from there we start lecturing them..

Finally we need an official twitter and IG page to always give out announcement as telegram and whatsapp will only accommodate a few.. Facebook will also be a nice place to spread our gospel.. Nairaland is already done and dusted all we need is the #tag.

I don't know how far you guys have gone on the telegram page, so let me stop here for now.

Why you people want to uphold what White people created to do exactly what is was designed to do to black people is beyond reason.

Every year “Nigerian Youth” will fix this fix that.

No you people cannot and will not.

Try to do something different for once Black people

Well spoken, let's get a presence on other platforms, so as not to put any political pressure on seun. We can be as faceless as possible to draw away political attacks from someone. They must have to Fight the Youth and as we all know. The Youths are Leader of tomorrow. The harsh truth is, these leaders are old, they can't live forever, what we must ensure is that they never transfer these ideologies that have made Nigeria what it is today.

About the political party. It's a huge step. The cabal is huge and all powerful.
We can start by gathering our number, getting our voices heard. The EndSARS deserved a peaceful protest. I really felt our voice alittle then but it was quite weak.
There's a lot to do.
The main idea is to get our voice together as one and scream.
