The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has won all the sixteen Chairmanship Seats and one hundred and sixty-eight, 168, Ward's Councillorship positions in Taraba State.

The Chairman of the State Electoral Commission, Dr Philip Duwe who announced the results in Jalingo told newsmen that the main opposition party in the state, All Progressives Congress, APC has boycotted the election.

Our Correspondent reports that the election was conducted peacefully across the 16 LGAs of the state.
