The APC Govs group (and NGF by extension as recently echoed by Wike) is becoming a relic of its once powerful forum, recall their collective efforts couldn't secure Ambode 2nd-term party ticket and recently, Obaseki.

El-ruffy, Fayemi (unluckily present NGF chair taunted by both past and present govs esp PDP as toothless chair), Aketi, Bagudu and some others are scared and/or trying to grab power as the case maybe.

Historically, it is not rare for a Gov to wrestle with a godfather and party chair, but rare for the Gov not to emerge victorious.
