smatt1711:It is you that is insane because you have refused to do a little research. Ameachi himself said he is not an Igboman. Go and look at the drama between him and Justice Chukwudifu Oputa in the popular " OPUTA PANEL". Oputa was telling him by his name he's an Igboman, but Amechi opposed the motion saying he is not an Igboman. Somebody on his own said he is not Igbo, you are here insulting your ancestors. |

azmanaty02:Rotimi Amaechi, minister of transportation, says the people of south-east not to demand the presidency in 2023. The All Progressives Congress (APC) got less votes in the region during the 2019 presidential election and the minister described this as voting against the party. In an interview with The Sun, Amaechi said the Igbo has nothing to bring in negotiating for 2023 presidency. “I don’t know what they will do now for voting against the APC,” he said. “For refusing to support the APC, they cannot come to the table to demand the presidency slot. “For people like us in the APC, if the Igbo had come and voted Buhari, they would boldly tell Mr President and the National Chairman of the party that presidency should go the Southeast since the South-south; South-west and North-west have produced president. What argument would the Southeast come up with now to convince anybody that they deserve the slot for 2023 president?” The minister said the region is completely out of national politics and if Igbo are not found in national politics, it will be to the detriment of their children. https://www.thecable.ng/amaechi-igbo-dont-have-anything-to-bargain-for-2023-presidency |

SpacehubTech:You want others to support the SE for the presidency but you've not presented anyone so as to start selling the person to Nigerians, I guess you don't know that there's no party that practices rotational slotting of the ticket. Everyone interested must present himself for the primaries |

Goodluck Ebelemi Jonathan was an Ijaw man. But he played his cards very well with the Igbos, and got their support. Atiku is a Fulani man, but he played his cards very well with the Igbos and got their total support. Although i know a yoruba man is behind the the moniker "IkwerrePikin". However, If Amaechi plays his cards well with the Igbos, he will get their support. But, if he thinks he can threaten them by saying support me or else, then he will fail the Buhari way. You cannot threaten the Igbos about what you won't do for them because they have been used to surviving without anything good from Nigeria. So if you want their support, court them and earn it. Articles like this with a sublime threat against the Igbos do more harm than good. In the end, all these senseless maneuvers by Yoruba, the will see they ended up playing themselves. |

[s] smatt1711:[/s] Stop being naive.Don't empower those who have without reason shown nothing but hatred in the past and present., Amaechi as president will be a disaster because he will spend all his days in Aso Rock trying to convince both Hausa and Yoruba that he is not Igbo.In fact his anti Igbo policies will be worst than that of Buhari. What has he done for SE and SS as a minister?all his project are in the north and west. |

Area4Area:I don't need to argue with you over this , I live in Onitsha and I type from there currently, try and make any Onitsha freind and verify this , every single Onitsha person believes they are not igbo hence the phrase "Nwa onye igbo" son of igbo man , this is how they will call you in all there conversations , ask around . my point is FG caused all this , we know our territory so if anybody within our territory becomes president wether he identify with us or not is non of my business , you can choose not to be ok but me I am ok , he can choose to work in the north like Jonathan did but honestly speaking if my brother deny me I can not deny him. |
