My friend’s girlfriend just tested positive for COVID-19, she informed my friend yesterday but my friend didn’t tell me because he thinks he can’t get it. I was with my friend yesterday and even this morning. The girl’s elder sister had to personally call to inform me that her sister tested positive to COVID-19, I called my friend immediately to ask him he said that’s rubbish that I shouldn’t be scared. The girl passed the night in my friend’s place before she went for the test yesterday.

Should I be scared or worried ? Am confused my friend is taking it like it’s nothing and even the girl’s sister is insisting my friend should go for a test but he is not listening. Mind you we are not in Nigeria.

Seun or anyone in charge should help me push this appropriately

Oga leave me na, if person wake up and see your type first in the morning the person has to go back to sleep. Can you just go and test in Nigeria without symptoms? Leave me please I have enough to worry about already

I’ll just leave you because if I start with you this afternoon I’ll be distracted. Leave my post if you have nothing reasonable to say. Don’t vent your frustration and hunger on me. How can someone be this rude this morning animal.

When you have been exposed, the next step should be to quarantine yourself and monitor for symptoms.
Once there's any symptom(s), you report for a test.
Going for a test immediately after exposure may be fruitless, unless you've had other exposures in the past.
The incubation period for covid-19 is about 14days.

Meanwhile, you're QUARANTINING, not ISOLATING.
Quarantine is for an exposed person who hasn't yet tested positive.
Isolation is for someone who has tested positive following exposure.
