Guess what, I can love Chelsea at times too. But we all know that in the scheme of great clubs, we can't even name Chelsea. Believe me, if a Watford fan tries to compare his club with Chelsea, I would be on Chelsea's side. As for Chelsea being compared to the European Elite clubs like Milan, Liverpool, United or Barca, it will always remain a joke

Can you remind me of Chelsea's best ever season again? I guess you're laughing at your club even in your mind.

Chelsea's best season to me is 2012, after beating Liverpool at Wembley in the FA cup Final, we went ahead as massive underdogs to defeat Bayern at their Allianz Arena to win the club's first and ever UCL .

Not a bad season.

Maybe it is near impossible for Chelsea to catch up with Liverpool and United in trophies.

Let me even even bring an easier challenge. Perhaps Chelsea should start by winning a major domestic treble. At least let the world take chelsea a lil more seriously. Let's start from there.

So in Chelsea's best season no Chelsea player was "outstanding". Chelsea didn't make top 4, and Chelsea lost the super cup 4-0 to falcao. And Chelsea failed Europe at the FIFA world club cup.



Believe me, you don't want to find out what Liverpool or United or even Milan or Barca's best season is. Compared to Chelsea's.

Eras come and go. Milan for example have won the serie A a lot and won the ucl 7 times . But what are they doing now? They can't win serie A, they can't qualify for the ucl again, talkless of winning it and they can't compete anytime soon. The only thing preventing Man Utd from towing same path is that they still have the money to bring in players, but even at that, it hasn't really clicked. From the days of Van Gaal and buying Di Maria, Depay and co till now, if hasn't really clicked..

In a Chelsea/United debate, the united man will always out-talk the other. Cos there're much more points stashed up in his favour.

Milan may be down now, but it takes nothing away from them.

Besides, the difference between United and many of these fallen teams is that.. Every manager in United will always get a silverware. And United somehow will still find a way to be in peoples faces.

Its quite different from maybe a Liverpool who won their 1st trophy in over 12yrs just last year. Or "some other teams" that endured up to 50 barren years.

Obviously United can't stay that long without a silverware which makes Chelsea's trophy catch-up game even a more impossible task. Couple d with the fact that United still stretches its head2head record with the inferior wannabe teams.
