IgbereTV reports that Enugu State Ministry of Health has confirmed 3 new cases of COVID-19, and has recorded 1350 cumulative number of samples since the outbreak of COVID-19.

A statement made available to IgbereTV on Monday by the Commissioner for Health, Enugu State, Dr. Obi Emmanuel Ikechukwu reads:

"#Enugu #COVID19 latest update from State Ministry of Health (29/6/2020)

*Cumulative number of samples since outbreak - 1350

*New laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases - 3

*Total laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases - 261

*Number of COVID-19 cases on treatment - 205

*Number of COVID-19 cases discharged - 50

*Number of Laboratory confirmed COVID-19 related deaths - 6

*Be Responsible! COVID-19 is real!

*Stay home when it is not absolutely necessary to go out

*Wear a facemask/covering whenever you must go out

*Keep a safe distance from other people at all times, which is social/physical distancing and avoid crowded places

*Practice good respiratory hygiene (when coughing or sneezing)

*Clean surfaces around you regularly with a solution of 1 part bleach and 99 parts of water (e.g. 1ml of bleach into 99 ml of water, mixed)

*Wash your hands with soap for 20 seconds under running water as often as possible

*And when facilities for handwashing are unavailable, sanitize your hands as often as possible using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer

They know fully well that what most people will see are the numbers just like the guy above. That's the dishonesty. Much easier to write "3 test positive out of 15" instead of deceptively mixing apples and oranges
