I think it's poison and not diseaseWhen you look at the fact
* that elephants move in herds and drink common water

*They died closed to water holes,a good solution to poison.

*no vulture,no hyenas,no crow birds in the picture.
* Their stools should be examined
*Their tongues
*That water should be tested ,if there are no worms and water insect on it then it is poisoning

Their tusks should be removed,that is the only reason to kill elephants in this manner.

I just hope a new virus or disease isn't in town and the human investigators should protect themselves with complete PPE before they mistakenly introduce another jungle virus to the human population.
