Please I started learning web development some months back and so far I have learnt html and css. Are there sites where one can get projects to practice on.. I really want to practice all I have learnt before jumping to the main programming which is Java script.

Try building a mini forum. Center it around topics, categorize the topics by section, try to give it two level of users at least and restrict rights. keep it simple.

Take any website and try to recreate it. The complex of them all should be e-commerce website....get the concept and you in it

The main problem there is that you'll be doing free work.
