Thank you! I just came across it on their website as well. One more thing does it mean if I dont have a first class I cant book with Cat A? I'm a second class upper graduate with 3.58, I guess I fall in Cat B?

Yes you are in cat B, except you have a German scholarship or u going for your PhD, not all first class can book with cat A, you must not have graduated latter than 2018. You are in category B.

Hello house, i have an MBBS degree and as we all know MBBS is not classified in Nigeria and many other countries into 1st, 2nd or 3rd class. Just pass written on our certificates. I also graduated after January 2018. Should i book under category A or B?
You are in category A, that's if you didn't finish latter than 2018. A fellow MBBS guy asked this question last year, called the embassy and they said he is in category A, but please note the year of graduation.

May be they want to hear every day, Mechanical, electrical, etc. My people, the world has gone beyond these courses. They are gradually fading away. For the courses mentioned, If you are not in Mechatronics, you may be displaced soon, very soon. Do your research before you start downgrading it. I'm in the field already.

The last time I checked, 2 or 3 uni offer it in Nigeria in undergraduate and i don't think they are accredited cox they dont have the resources yet

victor5996:
Is it that you people don't know about Mechatronic or what

Please I have questions which goes thus; Is it effective booking through the email directly rather than booking on the online platform? What do you suggest? Also If I choose to book through the email please through what email should I send the email requesting to be booked for? Thank you

There is no booking through email. All booking is done through their Lagos website. Just choose between Category A or B according to which you belong(very important). Link below. Good luck

If I were you I would sidon and learn not trying to be a mr know it all.

You last post on this clearly shows that you are a novice in this arena.

Mind you I don't need to call anyone on Facebook, twitter or LinkedIn, I work with Germans...

You work with Germans! I laugh you... So the Germans you work with are the students and graduates studying the program you want to join? No problem, a word is enough for the wise...

Good evening pro in the house..
Apart from very few, I believe the main reason we are applying to Germany are for greener pastures.
Considering the delays and uncertainty in the Germany Waka..
Now I'm persuaded to ask, for someone who can afford 5million naira, what other good alternative country should one consider in terms of masters and to secure job afterwards..
I'm looking at next summer

Is there other legitimate route one can consider with the amount I said earlier..
Some country like New Zealand can apply for a vocational study which is around 3k dollars as against their master that is above 15k dollars..
Is it possible to go with the vocational study, get a resident permit and continue your masters afterwards?..
Just thinking out people

I don't think you know much about the said course. Do your research, it's a hot cake in everywhere in the world including Nigeria. The German coys in Nigeria (Like the KHS machines he mentioned, Krones Machine, GEA, Miho, Sidel etc) are search for them cox they are not much in Nigeria.

If you say his post is not inspiring to you, is understandable but trying to write about the course you don't understand is not too good.

My post is meant to be an advise to you. I am not looking for a German Visa. You can either listen or ignore me. Whatever you do, we are waiting for you in Germany. I would like to read your experience later

I never said in my post that any of these fields are not employable in Germany. They are all employable as separate disciplines
In my company , I do not know any technician that is a mechanic and an electrician then a computer scientist. An electrician and electronics are ever different as close as they may seem. These fields require 3-4 years training to be employable in Germany. To combine it in a 2years master , makes the master laughable.

We call it facharbeit in Germany. There is no Jack of all trade in germany grin . The university can combine what ever the professor likes. But in the real world. The training is left to the professor to make use of. Companies would send you back to your professor to employ you. Companies are not looking for a mechanoelectrocomputoelectronics. I know a friend who studies geo biology. Combination mostly makes you unemployable in Germany. In this case, he is bearly a geologist and definitely not a biologist. He is nothing to the employer grin

Dont forget that Germany is not Nigeria that calls everyone graduate because they attended a course in the university.
Even the germans, if they study something then later realise that it is useless, they work in restaurant or as helper in factories , thereafter go back to study what is employable. They dont consider themselves graduate but would be rather angry with the university for teaching a useless course.

AND YOU WONDER WHY HE GOT ADMISSION SO EASILY, MAYBE THERE AINT STUDENTS IN GERMANY

Write me directly. Mbbs has good prospects in Germany, if you can pay the price of additional hardwork. If arabs and Asian have been doing it
I believe you can. Unfortunately, I cannot advice you here , it is not a convention approach

This is exactly the same point I explained to him on my first post...At best most interdisciplinary skills are useful when you have already grown up the ladder to management level and you need the combine insight to understand projects properly.... I know you are trying to make him see the truth as a fellow Nigerian but people like this don't listen ......I even advised him to talk to alumni and students in the program, he is telling me he works with Germans, imagine that mindset... Don't waste your time advising him, his mind is already made up....

No there is nothing wrong with it. In fact I said it has good prospects .

I'm sure you meant to ask if I am a medical doctor in Germany. No I am not a medical doctor anywhere. I was only excited that a Nigerian is willing to pursue a medical career in Germany, that is why I offered to give you tips that i know on how to go about it. These tip I got from my Asian and Arab friends who did this.

But since you are searching for a medical doctor. I can only wish you the best
Toi toi toi. Like they say in Germany smiley
