Lucidly said, let them come to the polls and show their political might. |

The funny thing is, this people are the first to refer to a people as 'Northern Slaves' -- whatever that means. And also try to takeaway the manhood of others by referring to them as 'Cowards' -- however that suits their analogy, real or imagined. Also quick to remark negatively about the much Brown Roofs of a region, unknown to them that it's even a thing of pride because it shows the early civilization and astuteness of the Forebears of those people. While many others in their generation still relied on Bamboo, their fathers were already using steel sheets as roofs! When you dig through the heart of history, and dissect things objectively, you'd know all these negativity expressed, and demeaning languages maul at others are just plain Reverse Psychology. Nothing more! |

First, the spelling is Igbo and not Ibo secondly the average Igbo man do not give a damn about who becomes a President as far as his business is doing good so all those stuff you listed above do not matter to us. |

Nwaide01:You give a damn about it, if not there won't be multiple threads all over Nairaland about Igbo presidency. BTW, it can be spelt Ibo or igbo. I choose Ibo. |

Instead of a Yoruba man to win presidency in 2023, it will go back to North, mark my words. Sammy07: |
| Re: Where Is Our Ibo Presidential Candidate? by Sammy07: 9:02am On Jul 04, 2020 |
kaycee125:Sure, I also prefer it to go to North. Shey nah we dey create threads up and down about IMO gas? Or nah we dey cry of being neglected by the governments? Are we the one crying that no single federal project / presence our regions? Abeq, I wish the north to take over too ![]() Let's see who'll loose. ![]() |

kaycee125:In addition, where the gas is being transported to is ajaokuta in kogi and it's a Yoruba land ![]() Kogi is closer to Ekiti Kogi is closer to Kaduna. It seems you guys still get plenty gas for that side ![]() We will keep exporting it to the north and annexing it to Yoruba land. Very soon, they will take the gas to Niger which is closer to Yoruba land, we will tap it from there ![]() Niger is beside kwara Kwara is beside Oyo / Osun / ekiti ![]() |

Macphenson:OUK can never represent Igbos as presidential candidate with his track record as the man that laid the faulty foundation of governance in Abia State. We Igbos will present a candidate that will effect positive changes to our political, social, economic environment. We have the likes of Ogbonnaya Onu under APC , Peter Obi, Dave Umahi and Ike Ekwerenmadu under PDP. Say no to OUK and chairman of Iberiberism (Okorocha). |

Sammy07:I'm not here to join issues with you I've done my part by correcting you about the right spelling as for Igbo President stuff I said average Igbo man which I know that they are many because you hardly see them discussing about it in meetings or joints. |

Ezennwa:This is how your father's n forefathers sold your birthright away n now had to go orchestrate coup that eventually led to the civil war that wasted over 5 million of your foolish kinsmen. Instead of fighting for your right from your aboki masters you are waiting till the situation is beyond remedy for your father to start wailing on Yoruba to give you what they never took from you. |

An Igboman has been president and Vice President, SP and deputy SP, Speaker and Deputy Speaker, even as Military Head of State! In business they are doing well, which means there's no extreme poverty in Igboland! In entertainment, they rule! Yes! Igbos own Nollywood as you know it! Our women are the most beautiful, our men very strong. Even if it's crime you want, we represent our fair share because na we get liver pass! If Nigeria is not working, why can't it split? The only romance Yoruba has with fulani is political. If tomorrow something goes wrong, they will take us back to June 12 all over again. If this country is afraid of splitting up, at least let the zoo be restructured into manageable parts and let everyone go back and develope their zones. |

No credible politicians from igboland, all of them are just wailing wailers with no political brain. Atiku is their eternal candidate. |

ChoCho54:Yes. I notice that. I like it. ![]() I just dont like politicians like Zik and Ojukwu. I respect Kanu, never seen him dressed like Ypruba or Hausa....always Ibo attire. Kanu is currently occupying the social position that people like Nzeribe occupied. In his youth Nzeribe had far reaching influence. Kanu need to do same. Put some isiagu and wrapper on him. |

MetaPhysical:From your writing the Igbo political elite never invest in any political project on a national scale. They wait to claim the trophy. Once the soup is done they will come forward with their soup bowl. They are waiting for the tickets to be shipped to them. |
