Mr. Tunde Fashola, Nigeria’s minister of works and housing has berated the main opposition party, the People Democratic Party (PDP) for being responsible for Nigeria backwardness and lack of development. "If we had put the $12billion we paid creditors in 2005 into infrastructure, we would have been telling a different story now" we opted to pay creditors. Pls kindly tell us sir, with due respect, why is Lagos not up to quarter of Dubai? Did you not promised us 24hours light? And what are we having in return? Vice versa right? Again, if APC should continue rolling this country till the next 20years, will it make Nigeria better then Dubai? what did your boss said about Dollar vs Naira during his campaign? What did he promised on Health? What sayeth he about Boko harah? And he's fulfilled all he promised abi? no be the same PDP be APC 2day? Population, size of country I dont think he meant it that way, cause it's easy to develop a small house with 4 people, it's another story if the house is big with plenty people Then there is absolute Monarchy in dubai, so the king can say spend this money on nepa and that's it Fashola is educated, he wouldn't directly make such comparisons PDP looted the country dry, that is a given, when I see ipob youth clamoring for pdp return, I am not shocked or bothered, some people dont know the effect of oil price on Nigerian economy, pdp had it good for 16 years, buhari has tried if anything to still be able to work with these low prices, Nigeria still has some bad eggs but as far as general growth is concerned, it's in line to grow, just need to reduce government recurrent expenditures and have more funds for capital development More companies, equal more jobs, equals more taxes and productive Nigerians which will produce more educated kids that will be more productive in the future, if you look at the maths, you will see the people behind our problems. 1 Like 1 Share |
