Nigeria's politics is funny. Once a deputy governor falls out with his principal, he becomes corrupt and worthy of impeachment. If he stays within the party, he is as white as snow. Same with Obasanjo and Atiku back then.

Atiku tried impeaching Obasanjo, even refused to support his second term at first, while he sponsored 3rd term death

If true, that's dents his( the DG) hope of becoming governor of the state or holding any political office.

A deputy governor left the party that put him power to the opposition party, and he expects to remain in power, is Agboola not a big foo.l? Imagine, he was disrespecting his boss Akeredolu (another useless governor who built a bridge and is already cracking after few months. The story is on this front page today) and also worked against his boss...yet, he expects that nothing will happen. Instead of him to honorably resign, he wants it in the record that he is impeached. See eh! Nigerians politicians are carelessly foo.lish. Let them impeach him and dump him in the gutter he deserves.

Who told you an impeached elected official can't recontest? What about Fayose of Ekiti state that was impeached in his first term in 2006 and returned to be elected governor in 2014. Cross-check your facts next time.
