We just moved into a new apartment and barely three months, the tiles have started coming up and cracking its own.
What could be the reason? What should be done so that after fixing new ones,it won't happen again.
Architects, builders and other professionals in the house, please help.

The floor and tiles too expand when it's hot and contract. This happens when the floor contracts more than the tiles during the cold season.

You need not to worry about this, It's a sign of answered prayers....you prayed that the ground should open an swallow your enemy, but Mathew 10:36 says, "man's enemies is from his own household."

Moisture, improperly installed floor, concrete layer too thin, failed and warped cause tile to crack

It helps to soak the tiles in water overnight before laying them ... This will avoid them separating from the floor cement

You will need to post more pictures of the room and expose some of the floor, to see what the condition look like.

If you are building in a water logged area you can't put tiles on new wet floor you should wait for it th cure.

For most houses in Lagos I would recommend a moisture barrier to prevent dampness
