I'm just thinking out loud

If indeed the requirement for submission from a wife is love from her husband, why then do women who claim to be Christians only submit completely to a man with money and not the man who loves them like God loves the church? grin

@bold:

There in lies your answer.

Whay kind of man would you submit to? The one who loves you like God loves his church, or the one who provides for you like Solomon provided for his harem?

I already figure you want the best of both worlds, but you still humour me. Lol
The One God agrees to. Now that isn't in your options, obviously you aren't a Christian else you will know about God's choice. Lol

Need an handkerchief? Because I know you aren't laughing now. grin

You shouldn't even mention God neither the bible, It is clear you don't give a damn about God neither his word.
By their fruit they shall be known.

when you are not ready to obey God, the Spirit of lies is waiting to do the interpretation.

Micah 2:11 If a man walking in the spirit and falsehood do lie, saying, I will prophesy unto thee of wine and of strong drink; he shall even be the prophet of this people.

Jeremiah 23:26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

Don't mind Ujujoan. She and I, including Pocohantas and some others too numerous to mention, are members of an Order offhandedly called "Woke-Christian." Actually, we don't belong and practice the same Christianity people like you and Bukatyne practice, even though some do identify as true Christians and some others do not identify with any religion.

In our Order, majority enjoy exercising liberty on the periphery of decorum but still feel entitled to enjoy the benefits true Christians who exercise their own liberty within the confine of decorum enjoy, unfortunately minority members are opposing such idea thus the quasi-fracas you have witnessed here. Anyway, we are doing everything possible to put our house in order.

One who stirs up a hornet's nest is called a preacher in the Order. As a preacher, my goading word is submission; whenever I intentionally wish to stir up a hornet's nest, I look for where someone drops it and fuel a fracas by dissecting and extrapolating it in accordance with the rules of the Order.

Everyone in Nigeria who isn't a Muslim, is a Christian.
An atheist who married/will marry inside a church, is a Christian, a fake one but still a Christian nonetheless, lol

And the above is probably why this argument you guys have been having continues to drag on, not just on the internet, but also in our social life.

True Christians know exactly what submission means. Problem is, there aren't many true Christians anymore, just title holders.

I will agree with and Respect whichever Man I end up with. Marriage to me isn't A Lord --follower thing, we will be equal in our own eyes verbally stated or not. Lol However I won't neglect the fact that He will have the final say and in most cases will be making the decisions nevertheless I will never be in a relationship/Marriage where I will not have a say or impact (well I may not have lots of say, lol I talk less but I will have a lot of influence because I act more grin) . Uncle I will agree with any Man that has sense and makes my heart do tinkolokolokololkolo. grin

An advice from an older woman to a younger one:

"Don't learn how to do things better than your husband. A man needs to think he knows more than his wife so she will respsect him and depend on him. It makes him feel more like a man. "

What do you think about this advice?

He better knows how to do some things because I am no pretender. cheesy
