For the Hushpuppians who are excited that his gang
stashed the proceeds from crime into bitcoin wallets.

"In 2013, Victorian police seized 3 electronic bitcoin
wallets containing 24,518.4777721 BTC for the first time in Australia. The seizure was part of a large scale investigation into Mr Pollard who was suspected of drug trafficking, possession, cultivation, importation and dealing with proceeds derived from the drug crimes."

"Ireland’s Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) seized
6,000 BTC from a Dublin resident who was accused
of growing cannabis on property located in the
Wicklow Mountain region. The police found around €450,000 of marijuana plants but the €52 million ($56.1M) of BTC was the biggest single-value asset seizure by the CAB since 1996." >>

Proceeds from crime are taken over by the government. Investing stolen money into bitcoin won't shield you when the authorities come knocking at your door.
If you are still PRAYING that Hushpuppi and his gang would be released without forfeiting their bitcoin proceeds from crime, your prayer is ending straight to the SPAM folder.

Former Secret Service Agent
Sentenced In Scheme Related To
Silk Road Investigation
SAN FRANCISCO – A former U.S.
Secret Service Special Agent, who had
been a member of the Baltimore Silk
Road Task Force, was sentenced to
prison today on charges of money
laundering, announced U.S. Attorney
Brian J. Stretch, Acting Assistant
Attorney General Kenneth A. Blanco of
the Justice Department’s Criminal
Division, Chief Don Fort of the
Internal Revenue Service Criminal
Investigation (IRS-CI), Special Agent in
Charge John F. Bennett of the FBI’s
San Francisco Division, and Special
Agent in Charge of the Department of
Homeland Security Office of the
Inspector General Houston Field Office
David Green.
Shaun W. Bridges, 35, of Laurel, Md.,
was sentenced to 24 months in prison
by U.S. District Judge Richard Seeborg
in San Francisco following his earlier
guilty plea to one count of money
laundering. Judge Seeborg ordered
that the sentence be served
consecutively to a previous sentence
that Bridges is currently serving.
Bridges was also ordered to forfeit
approximately 1,500 bitcoin and other
fiat currency which has a current
value of approximately $10.4 million.
Bridges had been a Special Agent with
the U.S. Secret Service for
approximately six years in the
Baltimore Field Office. Between 2012
and 2014, he was assigned to the
Baltimore Silk Road Task Force, a
multi-agency group investigating
illegal activity on the Silk Road, a
covert online marketplace for illicit
goods, including drugs. Bridges’
responsibilities included, among other
things, conducting forensic computer
investigations in an effort to locate,
identify and prosecute targets of the
Baltimore Task Force, including Ross
Ulbricht, aka “Dread Pirate Roberts,”
who ran the Silk Road from the
Northern District of California. In
2015, Bridges was arrested and taken
into custody on charges related to the
theft of approximately 1,600 bitcoin
from a digital wallet belonging to the
U.S. government. According to
admissions made in connection with
his guilty plea, Bridges admitted to
using a private key to access a digital
wallet belonging to the U.S.
government, and subsequently
transferring the bitcoin to other
digital wallets at other bitcoin
exchanges to which only he had
access. As part of his plea, Bridges
agreed to turn over the stolen bitcoin
to U.S. agents.
The case is being investigated by the
FBI’s San Francisco Division, IRS-CI’s
Washington, D.C. Field Office Cyber
Crimes Unit, and the Department of
Homeland Security Office of the
Inspector General in Washington D.C.
The case is being prosecuted by
Assistant U.S. Attorney William
Frentzen and Trial Attorney Richard B.
Evans of the Criminal Division’s
Public Integrity Section. Assistant U.S.
Attorney David Countryman handled
the asset forfeiture aspects of the
case.

they have his computer/phone etc, a FBI hacker worker can easily get all his infos (Bitcoin wallet included)...

if Bitcoin itself can be hacked, then a Bitcoin wallet wouldnt be that more difficult.

Bitcoin is a crypto-currency it has no central command and it works based on cryptography to crack bitcoin you have to be able to bypass the cryptography(cryptic key) which is very difficult and hard.

I love the way people are claiming bitcoin is hard to trace and coins can not be trace.

Don't be deceived bitcoin is not anonymous as they claimed.

A simple court order will get your wallet and coin ceased.

Even your wallet and coin are trackable.

The problem is that you are ignorant, read the fraudsters complaints

The FBI issued a court order to the bitcoin company, they got the email and bitcoin hash, got the history of all transfer, traced everything
to a bitcoin exchange. Bitcoin exchange work with banks.

Mumu, they are getting everything.

It is the same way, people think VPN can not be traced, a simple court order will bring out all your logs.

May god give you sense because sincerely speaking you are not smart.

The most effective way law enforcement authorities can seize Bitcoins is by obtaining the private keys which are linked to the Bitcoins or physically confiscating the ‘Bitcoin wallet’.

only possible if he never accessed his wallet from his laptop/phone. these people will only follow the money trail....or better yet, just use his own computer/phone to figure that out.

You are the real mumu here, you think dropping words like hash will make you sound smart, a simple court order to which company?
If you knew anything about bitcoin and blockchain technology you will actually know that it’s goal is decentralization such that you don’t actually sue anyone because the only person with access to your private keys is you. Go and take a blockchain or ethereum course first before opening your mouth. Nkakwu

ignoramus. problem about you is that you listen to marketing instead of doing real research about so called blockchain technology

bitcoin is digital but has trace, you register a wallet with email, your phone number, exchanges works with banks, all history of transactions are all online

follow the trail it will lead you to the end.

blockchains are built on top of communication networks and equipments and it is companies and physical computers and humans that control these technology not spirits.

get sense, anything digital currency that has history, records of transaction and can be converted to physical currency through a payment gateway of a physical bank can be traced.

Bitcoin can never grant access to the feds unless the owner of the account personally gives you his access details and password

The company is so anonymous that no one knows who owns Bitcoin.

So write with facts and not assumptions

If you hide money in Jupiter and FBI arrests you, you will show them how to get back the money or remain in prison till death.

Bitcoin can't be "siezed", it's decentralized.

If governments form treaties, and make it illegal though, then it'll have big problems as many law abiding citizens won't touch it.
